Earlier this month our club held our first ever fundraising event – Bogan Bingo! The funds we raised would help build up our bank account so we could launch some projects supporting the causes we’re passionate about.
Energy was at an absolute 10 from the second we began, with the professional Bogan Bingo MCs whipping the crowd up into a frenzy.
Between 2 games of lewd and crude bingo, there was a “bush chook wheel”, a coin toss game and a meat tray raffle.
Major sponsors Boston Brewing Co and Willoughby Park Wines provided the alcohol, which made a huge impact on the amount of funds we were able to raise. Absolute legends!!
Everyone said it was an absolutely fantastic night… and we raised $6722 for our club! Looking forward to holding it again next year.
Big thanks to all club members who helped to plan, run and pack up after the event and thanks also to the members of the Mt Lawley Rotaract club who provided several excellent volunteers on the night.
